Product & Installation

Our approach to ensuring design authenticity starts with studying genuine antique hardware. We then reproduce it using established casting techniques, focusing on every aspect, from the design to the surface treatment, to ensure it fulfills contemporary requirements. We believe authenticity goes beyond mere looks; it’s about respecting the skill behind the initial creation. For us, authenticity extends beyond appearance; it's about respecting the skill involved in the original creation. No compromises or assumptions—just durable hardware crafted to tell its own story.

We enjoy helping our customers in discovering collections that match their architectural look. Our Product Finder Tool provides customized advice based on your home’s design and narrative.

Most of our door hardware is crafted from brass, bronze, ceramic or stainless steel and come in different finishes. Our shutter hardware typically uses stainless steel or wrought iron for strength and weather resistance. Cabinet hardware spans all of the above, depending on the design and application. Each product listing includes material details and available finishes, so you can choose what best suits your space.

Some of our products include installation instructions. If you are unsure of how to install your hardware, feel free to reach out. We are happy to advise you.

Yes, all hardware includes the necessary screws for installation.

Most finishes can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish. For brass and bronze hardware, a gentle metal polish and a solf cotton cloth–like the ones traditionally used for fine brass and copper–can help restore the original shine when desired.

We recommend light, occasional polishing to maintain the look without removing the character that develops over time.

Our components are manufactured in the U.S. and select global foundries. All hard-finishing, assembly, and custom restoration work is done by our team in Charleston, South Carolina, where we ensure each piece meets our standards for quality and authenticity.
