Our 1929 Back Plates and Doorknobs sets are reproductions of hardware found on buildings that date to the early 20th century. Art deco is a visual art style that emerged in France prior to World War I, and reached immense popularity in the United States during the 1920s and 1930s. It features bold geometric forms, fine craftsmanship, and sumptuous materials. Our patterns are taken from antique originals and are stamped in solid brass and bronze.
The product is shown above in Unlacquered Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze. It is also available in Hand Antiqued Brass and Polished Nickel.
