Colonial Door/Gate Latch

Our colonial knob latch is a  careful reproduction of a circa 1840s design and combines the classic style of a Suffolk thumb latch with a convenient knob.

It’s perfect for a period-authentic restoration or just adding a splash of vintage style. All latch parts are made in heavy cast iron for strength and historical accuracy and the beautiful curvilinear design is evocative of the Blake-style latches of yesteryear.

The Colonial Knob Latch features a privacy lock and reversible design for use of left- or right-hand doors up to 1 ¾” thick.
