Our dummy spindles serve several purposes. We have smooth slide-on dummy spindles for antique doorknobs tapped for standard 1024 set screws. We also have threaded 16 tpi dummy spindles with taps, and 20 tpi dummy spindles without taps.

Description
Dummy spindles are used to mount doorknobs on non-working doors that do not need to have turning knobs. The back plate or rosette to hold the doorknob in plate will cover the mounting plate. Most antique doorknobs are compatible with this dummy spindle.
