This is a reproduction of an early 1900's shelf.  The brackets are available in polished nickel (pictured), unlacquered brass and hand antiqued brass.  The glass is 1/4" thick and highly polished.  The installed picture below is of the owner's shower.

unlacquered brass: is uncoated allowing the brass to age with time.

hand antiqued brass: we apply the finish here.  It is a live finish that looks like it has been around a long time.
