Full-mortise drawer/furniture door lock. Called “machine” locks because they were made for insertion in mortises cut by machinery or routers, this was the most widely used lock in drawers of all types of furniture from the late 1800s onward. It can also be used on right-hand doors for furniture due to the shape of the keyway. Made of steel with Polished Chrome finish. Comes with a key. Its selvedge does not extend beyond the case of the lock.
