Our privacy mortise lock has a solid brass front with brass internal moving parts enclosed in a cast iron case.  The opening for the turn piece fits antique and reproduction spindles.  Sold Individually. Turn piece sold separately.  See schematic for details.  The backset is 2-5/16".  If you need the more common 2-1/2" backset, let us know you need item 8919-xx.
