Two arm lengths are available: 10" and 16" measuring from the center of the hub. Each set includes a shutter hook holdback arm with rotating mounting wheel; a keeper with holes that allow the shutter to remain open in three different positions; a cradle to hold the arm on the shutter when it is closed; and a small up to keep the shutter closed. Two complete sets are included with the purchase, enough to outfit a window with two shutters.
Our sets are rust proofed with zinc phosphate and black powder coated to last maintenance free for generations.

Description
These early shutter hold backs were developed by Sargent and are listed in their 1888 catalog. They hold the shutter open in various positions and are used in masonry applications, thereby eliminating the need to drill holes into the wall to install shutter dogs.
