Our hand antiqued brass finish begins as an unlacquered brass component. We then apply our hand antiquing process piece-by-piece to ensure a consistent and beautiful finish. Hand Antiqued Brass is a great selection if you’re looking to achieve a gracefully aged look on Day 1. Variations and range are expected as this is a hand done finish.

Hand Antiquing Process

Our unique hand antique finish is performed by artisan hands right here in Charleston, SC. While our exact process is proprietary, we begin with unlacquered brasses and bronzes, chemically treat and hand finish each piece to achieve an aged look. Our hand antiqued finishes are perfect when trying to match existing hardware which already has a patina or create a sense of lived-in comfort in a new installation.
