Ceramic Hardware Collection

The Ceramic Collection comprises colorful doorknobs that pair with our Colonial style rim locks, New York backplates, and various rosettes. Accompanying cabinet hardware is perfect for historic restorations or new builds needing a mid century modern flair. Traditionally porcelain knobs would have been imported to the United States from Europe and often were placed in more formal areas of the house. As the industrial revolution commenced it became more cost effective to use ceramic and clay materials rather than brass and bronze. Many of these designs originated in New England and were mass produced. In particular the Bennington knob was born in Vermont and features an unique swirled pattern using a variety of brown hued clay.
