Country Club Custom: Locker Room Hardware at Baltusrol

When Baltusrol Golf Club set out to restore its historic locker rooms after fire and water damage, every detail mattered, including the hardware. The Club sought custom pieces that would reflect its storied history while elevating the experience of every member and guest who walked through the doors.

Founded in 1895, Baltusrol Golf Club is one of America’s most celebrated golf institutions. Having hosted more than twenty major championships and earning designation as a National Historic Landmark in 2014, the Club’s commitment to excellence extends far beyond the fairways. 

Working closely with the Club, Charleston Hardware developed a suite of custom bronze hardware for the new lockers, including knobs and numbered locker plates. Each piece was designed to incorporate Baltusrol’s iconic winged logo, creating a cohesive look that tied the locker room directly to the Club’s identity.

Cast in solid bronze, each piece brings a rich warmth which complements the natural tones of the wooden lockers. The dimensional detailing of the Club’s emblem creates a subtle but unmistakable reminder of Baltusrol’s heritage, transforming everyday hardware into a meaningful part of the member experience. This finishing touch creates a unique and memorable impression for all members and guests.
