Beautifully crafted hardware that honors America’s architectural history in every detail.
Originally built in 1905, the mansion is the second oldest building on the Navy Shipyard. It used to be a site of large parties and grand events for Naval officers. The structure and design reflect late Victorian and early 20th century eclectic designs including the Italianate, Neo-Classical and Colonial periods.
Sitting vacant for the past 18 years, the building required a lot of specialized attention from Spratlin & Sons Construction to get the facility back to it’s original glory. Like any restoration project, it was important that anything and everything that could be salvaged was. Check out some of our authentic hardware reproductions from this project below.
Construction is projected to be complete by February 2021, and design elements are to be put in place the following summer. The Admiral’s House will re-open as a premier bed and breakfast located right on the Cooper River. It will also be the largest venue in North Charleston for weddings and events.
